Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Director of Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to lead scientific oversight for virology programs within RWLP, shaping study designs and contributing to strategic proposals.

The role requires advanced degrees, strong communication, and demonstrated leadership to advance epidemiologic research and post-marketing safety commitments while collaborating across Sponsor, RWLP, and management teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; Masters preferred Doctorate.
• In-depth knowledge of various study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late-phase designs is preferred.
• Statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python) knowledge is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific oversight of selected projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, quality, and satisfaction.
• Lead and peer-review essential study documents (protocols, CRFs, SAPs, study plans, reports).
• Develop abstracts and publish manuscripts to promote company services.
• Collaborate with RWLP and management to win global business opportunities and defend proposals.
