Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Dir of Epidemiology Pipeline (TA - Virology) to lead scientific oversight across virology trials and postmarketing studies. Role focuses on study design, regulatory alignment, and client-facing capability development.

The candidate will oversee protocol development, statistical analysis planning, and dissemination of findings, while collaborating with RWLP management and other functions to win global opportunities.

Qualifications

SME in Virology Clinical Trials.
Requires graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health; (Masters; Preferred Doctorate).
Requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with a variety of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase study designs as well as relevant guidelines preferred.
Requires basic knowledge of statistical programming language(s) (e.g., SAS, R, Python).
Excellent communication, presentation, both written and spoken;
Strong personal communication and team-oriented skills;
Demonstrated leadership and technical skills.

Responsibilities

LOOKING for SME in Virology Clinical Trials and to serve as a scientific resource across functions.
Works with RWLP management to develop and deliver proposals, bid defenses, and capabilities presentations.
Provides scientific oversight of projects to meet timelines, budgets, quality, and satisfaction.
Oversees study start-up and ongoing management; develops protocols, SAPs, CRFs, and study reports.
