Derby City Gaming & Hotel seeks an Executive Gaming Host to develop and manage VIP player programs, delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving loyalty. You will interact with high-value guests, tailor comps, and coordinate premium events.

The role emphasizes strong communication, judgment, and collaboration with the Player Development team to expand VIP visitation and revenue while maintaining the company’s mission and standards.

Qualifications

• One to two years of Gaming Host or related hospitality experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of player management systems, gaming operations, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Racing License.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain relationships with VIP players through in-person interactions, events, and follow-up.
• Manage and resolve guest requests to ensure full satisfaction.
• Inform hosted guests of events and promotions through all channels.
• Plan and execute special events and support telemarketing to confirm attendance.
• Represent the company at off-property functions to entertain or assist guests.
• Increase trip frequency by contacting guests via calls, letters, or visits.
• Award complimentary gifts and experiences based on gaming activity and guidelines.
• Engage with guests on the gaming floor to sign up non-carded players and drive loyalty.
• Analyze player trends to identify revenue growth in VIP portfolios.
• Create annual engagement plans for top players including trips and milestones.
• Partner with the Player Development Manager on VIP goals.
