Job summary

Canon Business Process Services is seeking a Concierge / Floor Ambassador in the New York area to maintain a premium guest experience and support client guests and vendors.

You will greet visitors, manage service requests, ensure facilities, IT, security, and other teams respond promptly, and contribute to an elevated VIP workplace.

This role rewards attention to detail, professionalism, proactive problem solving, and a strong commitment to exceptional service on every floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1+ years of experience in a mailroom and/or professional office environment.
• Prior hospitality experience preferred (managing office inventory, conference room setup, event assistance).
• Ability to provide a high level of exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and initiative to fulfill business needs.
• Print, copy and binding experience is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of shipping procedures.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office).
• Ability to operate complex office equipment (fax, scanner, metering, stamping, tracking systems) with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Own the floor operations and address issues with facilities, IT, security, or maintenance.
• Provide VIP workplace service and ensure visitors are greeted and informed.
• Ensure space, connectivity, and supplies meet the needs of professionals.
• Maintain printer network, lighting, cooling and other systems and resolve problems.
• Manage all service requests with a closed-loop approach.
• Input requests and completions into accountability software accurately.
• Support events on the floor with planning and execution guidance.
• Operate office devices and applications to fulfill requests.
