Job summary
MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company is seeking an Export VIP Client Support Specialist to provide outstanding personalized customer service to VIP clients. The role requires on-site presence five days a week and coordination across US and overseas MSC departments to ensure smooth cargo handling and accurate rate communication.
Responsibilities include processing booking requests, handling emails and calls, resolving inquiries, and maintaining relationships through proactive communication and KPI
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.).
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Customer service mindset, responsive and team oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to learn new software.
Responsibilities
- Processes booking requests from clients per booking procedure.
- Handles emails and phone calls per customer service procedure.
- Assists and resolves customer inquiries; communicates rates, free time, and stipulations.
- Coordinates with departments in the US and overseas to ensure smooth loading/unloading.
