Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc. is seeking an on-site Desktop Support professional in Minnesota to install, configure, and maintain desktop PCs, peripherals, and software. The role includes IMAC services, VIP/high-touch support, AV and conferencing management, and printer setup.

You will support Office 365, DHCP/DNS, and IT inventory, while adhering to SLAs and assisting with procurement. You will also help with events, meetings, and after-hours activities, document incidents, and contribute to the knowledge

Qualifications

• Experience installing and configuring desktop PCs and peripherals.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience performing IMAC services for IT assets and supporting mobile devices.
• VIP support with high-touch service and managing AV/conferencing tech.
• Knowledge of Office 365 support.
• Knowledge of DHCP and DNS.
• Maintain IT inventory and assist with procurement.
• Adherence to defined SLAs.
• Document incidents and resolutions for knowledge base.
• Support meetings, events, and after-hours activities as required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, peripheral equipment, and software within established standards and guidelines.
• Hardware/software troubleshooting and resolution
• Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for IT assets, and support mobile phone and non-PC equipment such as scanners and printers.
• Offer VIP support with tailored, high-touch service and manage audio-visual, conferencing, and technologies
• Network & Sharing printer installation
• Knowledge of Office 365 support
• Coverage/compliance software installation and troubleshooting
• Good communication skill
• Good Knowledge of DHCP, DNS.
• Maintain IT inventory, coordinate vendor support, and assist with procurement
• Support Mac devices
• Strictly adhere to defined Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
• Support recurring meetings, events, and after-hours activities as required
• Documenting incidents, problems, and resolutions for future reference and for the knowledge base
