Job summary

Gr8ttek is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for Friday Harbor, WA. This on-site role supports end-user computing, including PCs, laptops, tablets and printers, with a long-term potential conversion after about six months.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on troubleshooting, IMAC experience, and familiarity with ITIL concepts. A+ is a plus. Compensation begins at $19.50 per hour (W2), with potential for contract-to-hire.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-user support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with PCs, desktops, laptops, tablets and printers.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts and basic IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to client-identified VIPs.
• Respond to change management requests including new PC equipment and deskside support.
• 3+ years experience performing IMAC activities.
• Perform desk-side support and on-site assistance.
• Demonstrate technical and professional service skills.
• Meet customer service and operational metrics.
• Communicate repair status and ETA to end-users and service desk.
