Job summary

VIP is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a service team, ensuring safety, quality customer interactions, and adherence to VIP processes. You will assist the Service Manager, develop a superior team, and deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

The role focuses on coordinating daily operations, staff training, and ensuring exemplary service levels across all customer touchpoints at the Rochester location.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in automotive service management.
• Two-year college or technical school program preferred.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE/Credentials as listed in qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure workplace safety is Priority #1 and follow safety policies.
• Consult with customers, educate them on vehicle condition and MPI results.
• Aim for higher SAX scores through customer engagement.
• Lead and support the team as Service Manager is unavailable.
• Coordinate training and LMS/compliance for staff.
• Maintain clean, safe facility and proper equipment readiness.
• Enforce compliance with ethical standards and regulations.
• Communicate with management and serve as policy administrator when needed.
