Job summary

VIP Automotive Retail in Rochester, NH seeks an inspirational Service Manager to lead a high-performing service team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will drive safety, training, scheduling, and communication while upholding VIP’s Code of Ethics and local regulations.

Manage operations, coach staff through LMS and ASE certification pathways, and partner with technicians to meet customer needs across all hours of operation in a compliant, customer-first environment.

Qualifications

Two years related experience in automotive service management.
Completion of two-year college or technical school program recommended.
Equivalents acceptable: combination of education and experience.
Current, valid driver’s license in state of residence.
ASE Certification C1 – Service Consultant required.
ASE Certification P2 – Parts Specialist recommended.
ASE Certification G1 – Maintenance and light repair recommended.
State Inspection License Required (where applicable).

Responsibilities

Maintain workplace safety as Priority #1 and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Build an extraordinary team through hiring, training, and development.
Schedule team to meet customer needs during all hours of operation.
Communicate effectively with the team through daily huddles and meetings.
Train and support staff in the 5 for 5 process for customer vehicle conditions and solutions.
Dispatch and assign work orders to technicians based on first available qualified technician.
Attend off-site meetings and training sessions as needed.
