Job summary

VIP is seeking an Assistant Manager to act as the second-in-command at the location, ensuring a superior customer experience and adherence to VIP standards. You will support the Service Manager in building a high-performing team, delivering safety, training, and process execution while maintaining open communication with customers and staff.

You will oversee daily operations, coordinate with technicians, manage shifts, and participate in training sessions.

Qualifications

Two years related experience in automotive service management.
Two-year college or technical school program recommended.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Promote workplace safety as priority and ensure compliance with safety policies.
Consult with customers to educate them on vehicle condition based on MPI inspection.
Achieve higher than average customer engagement via SAX score.
Assist Service Manager to develop a superior team and ensure LMS training completed.
Coordinate dispatching of work orders to technicians.
Attend off-site meetings and training as needed.
Communicate with management and act as policy administrator when Service Manager is absent.
