Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a Community Health Aide/Practitioner to deliver primary health care in village clinics, including emergency care as needed. The role requires relocation to a village or existing residence in the area and annual travel for trainings.

Responsibility includes year-round coverage, potential lead duties, and proficiency with RPMS and Telehealth within a short training period. Alaska Native preference applies under law.

Formación

• Must be able to communicate in English and read/write simple instructions.
• High school diploma or GED required; TABE reading/writing capability preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to perform calculations.
• Experience with Word and email; RPMS and Telehealth proficiency within 3 months.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary, acute, chronic and preventive care at village clinics.
• Be available for year-round coverage including summers and itinerant assignments.
• Travel to Bethel or training sites for basic training and ongoing education.
