Job summary

YKHC Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation seeks a Community Health Aide/Practitioner to provide primary, acute, and preventive care in rural village clinics. The role includes emergency care, training participation, and potential lead health aide duties.

The position requires relocation to a village, year-round service, and travel to Bethel or training sites. Proficiency with RPMS/Telehealth and basic math/reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to travel and provide year-round services in multiple villages.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math at an 8th grade level as required by TABE.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary, acute, chronic and preventive health care at village clinics.
• Deliver emergency care as needed and participate in trainings and certifications.
• Provide itinerant coverage to other YKHC villages as assigned.
• May serve as Lead Health Aide as required.
