The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in rural southwest Alaska is hiring a Community Health Aide/Practitioner. This full-time role provides primary, emergency, and preventive care at village clinics across the region. Residents or willing to relocate to a village are required.

English communication is essential; local language skills are preferred. Travel to Bethel and other training sites is expected to participate in trainings and to cover multiple villages as needed.

Formación

• Must be resident of the village or agree to relocate to a village to serve as CHA/Practitioner.
• Must communicate in English and preferably speak the local village language.
• Must travel to Bethel and/or other training sites for basic training and required trainings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary, acute, chronic and emergency health care at village clinics.
• Serve in itinerant capacity across YKHC villages as assigned.
• Participate in preventative and chronic care activities; year-round coverage including summers.
