Job summary

Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation in Alaska seeks a Community Health Aide/Practitioner to provide primary and emergency health care in village clinics and to participate in preventive and chronic care activities.

The role requires residency in the village or relocation, English communication, willingness to travel to Bethel and training sites, and completion of basic training and CHP certification. It includes year-round coverage with itinerant assignments across YKHC villages.

Qualifications

• Must be a resident of the village or relocate to provide service.
• Ability to communicate in English; local language preferred.
• Willing to travel to Bethel or training sites for training.
• Must complete basic health training and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and emergency health care at village clinic.
• Participate in preventive and chronic care activities.
• Travel to Bethel or training sites as required.
• Offer itinerant coverage to YKHC villages as assigned.
