Job summary

Universal Processing is seeking a Business Development Associate for a fully onsite role, five days a week, to be the brand ambassador by introducing our payment solutions to clients and gathering leads. This position is non-exempt with a base rate of $27.00/hour during the probationary period, rising to $30.00/hour after completion.

You will join a sales-focused team, with paid training, medical/vision/dental, generous PTO, and 401k, plus uncapped commissions and bonuses tied to performance.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the US at time of hire; bilingual Vietnamese reading/writing required.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, detail-oriented and analytical abilities.
• Aptitude for learning and developing negotiation and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather leads, conduct cold calls, and schedule appointments to develop new business.
• Engage conversations with small-to-medium-sized business owners by introducing products and services.
• Obtain business information and input lead data into databases.
• Gather credit card processing statements for pricing analysis.
• Follow up with potential clients to advance opportunities.
• Manage the business pipeline and develop a payment strategy for long-term success.
• Meet and exceed required sales targets.
