Job summary

University of Texas at Austin is seeking a part-time Control Room Technician Assistant to support the College of Pharmacy Learning Resource Center’s video conferencing program on UT MAIN CAMPUS. The role involves setting up Zoom connections, operating classroom cameras, and maintaining audio levels during lectures.

Training will be provided. Work shifts follow business hours (8AM-5PM) with morning slots on Mon/Wed and mid-morning on Tue.

Responsibilities

• Setting up video conferencing connections via Zoom.
• Controlling classroom cameras via a central control room
• Maintaining proper audio levels for the classroom and video connections
• Assist with in-room AV support (Powerpoint, doc cam, microphones, etc.)
• Monitor lecture capture recordings
• Co-host duties on the Zoom call (muting participants, opening, sharing, etc.)
