Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail with a strong QC mindset.
• 4+ years' experience as a QC Operator in a large studio or vendor environment.
• Familiarity with post-production workflows: ingest, editing, VFX, color.
• Experience interfacing with multi-location teams and external vendors.
• Knowledge of asset management, QC and task tracking software.
• Understanding of camera formats, codecs, metadata and production specs.

Responsibilities

• Rigorously evaluate and create detailed QC reports for video and audio media.
• Review and validate automated QC reports and communicate findings to teams.
• Participate in calibration of evaluation criteria for Sphere's media pipelines.
• Observe content on multiple displays and tools to detect defects and artifacts.
• Assess audio for level consistency, channel sync, and distortions.
