Job summary

Collabera is seeking a QA/QC professional to perform file QC across playback programs and nonlinear editors, ensuring content meets client standards.

You'll review media for defects, check artwork/data accuracy, and communicate issues to drive on-time delivery. The role requires strong JSON reading, Jira/Kanban familiarity, and clear, proactive collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Exposure to ticketing within Kanban/JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Perform File QC’s using various playback programs and nonlinear editing systems
• View media and identify defects (digital hits, macro blocking, interlacing, etc...), continuity or incomplete content found during testing.
• Listen to media and identify audio dropouts, pops, distortions, etc...
• Check artwork and data to ensure technical correctness/ meets client’s standards
• Communicate any issues to the proper parties and oversee corrections for on-time delivery
• Create and upload thumbnails and other simple artwork
• Follow a fast schedule and be flexible to changes in priorities
