Sphere Entertainment Co. is seeking a QC Operator for our Burbank studio to rigorously evaluate video and audio media, create detailed QC reports, and validate automated QC results for inbound media and outbound deliverables.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a large studio or vendor environment, deep knowledge of video/audio standards, and strong written communications to coordinate with VFX, color, audio, and partner vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a QC Operator in a large studio or vendor environment.
• Deep knowledge of video and audio standards and QC practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Rigorously evaluate and create detailed QC reports for video and audio media.
• Review and validate automated QC reports.
• Communicate QC findings to technical and project teams and with outside partners/vendors.
• Participate in ongoing calibration of evaluation criteria for Sphere’s media pipelines and image workflows.
• Operate display devices and software to evaluate content for defects, color, shading, and motion issues.
• Listen to and evaluate audio playback for level consistency, channel sync, and distortions.
