Job summary

Cineverse Giant Worldwide is seeking on-call Temporary QC Technicians to review audio and video for sync and imperfections, ensuring they meet platform specs. The role also includes reviewing content and metadata for deliveries, and occasional navigation reviews of DVD/Blu-ray discs.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of QC experience with digital video and physical sources, including streaming packages like Disney+, Netflix, and iTunes, plus DVD/Blu-ray formats.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in QC for digital video/audio assets.
• Experience with streaming platforms (Disney+, Netflix, iTunes).
• Familiarity with A/V formats (Pro-Res, mp4) and timed-text formats (.scc, .itt).
• Ability to work in Final Cut Pro or Premiere daily.

Responsibilities

• Complete linear and master QC reviews of streaming video/audio to platform specs (iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon).
• Check metadata and packaging for multiple platforms (iTunes, Hulu, Amazon, Google).
• Identify and report quality errors in digital assets (sync, dropouts, format issues).
• Verify XML documents prior to delivery.
• Submit reports based on findings and maintain attention to deadlines.
