Job summary

Lennar seeks a VP of Land Acquisition to drive strategic land sourcing and development for multiple communities. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and oversee partnerships to ensure timely starts and closings.

Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, coordinating civil engineering and design services, and presenting at public hearings. This role demands senior industry experience and strong leadership within a dynamic homebuilding group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of combined experience in land development and land acquisition.
• Degree in business administration, engineering, accounting, finance or similar program.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead and coach teams to achieve objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential land acquisition targets through study of tax maps and networking with attorneys, engineers and others involved in residential land development.
• Prepare land acquisition packages for corporate investment committee approval.
• Conduct and facilitate monthly and quarterly partner meetings.
• Responsible for Bond maintenance.
• Development/Entitlement budgeting and oversight of schedules.
• Manage lot takedown, land pipelines and LOC updates.
• Supervise Third Party HOA Management Company and review HOA budgets.
• Lead board meetings per Robert's Rules of Order.
• Develop and maintain resident relations plans across divisions.
