Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Land Development Manager to lead the division’s land development program across the South Bay and beyond. The role oversees schedules, budgets, environmental/engineering plans, and permit compliance to deliver ready-to-build home sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Construction Managers and Development leadership, developing entitlement budgets, and managing field operations, HOA activities, and related compliance. Local travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in land development.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling, and data management software.
• Detail-oriented and a problem-solver.
• Willingness to travel – South Bay and beyond.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects using schedules, budgets, reports and permit compliance.
• Collaborate with Area Construction Managers and Director of Construction.
• Assist in development budgets during entitlement and value-engineer designs.
• Build relationships with jurisdictional entities to secure land use rights.
• Oversee field operations for land development including erosion control, grading, utilities, paving, and amenities.
• Manage HOA activities, budgets, and common open space improvements.
• Maintain bond obligations and guaranties across the division.
• Coordinate with departments to deliver amenities and marketing windows.
• Ensure SWPPP compliance.
• Review project budgets with Director of Development for reconciliation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
