Cambia Health seeks a strategic, experienced VP Contracting for Oregon and Washington to lead network strategy, contracting, and value-based initiatives across multiple markets. Hybrid role with offices in Portland, Vancouver, or Renton; candidates must reside within commutable distance or be willing to relocate.

The role drives payer relationships, develops innovative provider contracts, and leads cross-functional teams to achieve affordability and quality goals across states.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field with 15+ years health care leadership experience including 7+ years payer experience
• Experience converting providers from fee-for-service to value-based contracts for commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid

Responsibilities

• Direct the provider network and contracting activities, overseeing negotiation and network strategy
• Provide executive leadership for provider negotiation strategy and operational execution
• Evaluate opportunities to expand or modify the network to meet company goals
• Partner with leaders to develop and execute short- and long-range plans for provider network strategy, contracting, and quality/cost targets
• Ensure networks support affordability, geographic coverage, and stakeholder satisfaction while managing relationships
• Champion best practices and innovative cost-sharing models with clear metrics and reporting
