Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Vibrant Life Assistant to safely operate the community van, supervise residents during outings, and assist with activities. You will load/unload residents, follow safety and regulatory guidelines, and support marketing and communication with families.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and experience driving for the elderly. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old due to driving requirement and auto carrier’s age restrictions.
• High school education; Valid Driver’s License required by state for vehicle/van capacity.
• Prefer minimum of two years experience driving a vehicle/van; experience with elderly and dementia residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate property vehicle/van safely for daily outings and medical appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading of residents onto and off of the vehicle/van.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating the vehicle/van and comply with inspection standards.
• Act as a Vibrant Life staff member during outings and within the community.
• Participate in daily outings with residents, provide supervision, and assist with personal care and activities.
• Ensure vehicle is in proper order; report safety or maintenance issues.
• Maintain communication with property staff via cell phone; keep it charged and on.
• Report resident safety concerns to supervisors and follow procedures for abuse reporting.
• Support marketing efforts through friendly interaction during tours and calls.
