Job summary
Integral Senior Living seeks a Vibrant Life Assistant to safely drive the community van for daily outings and medical appointments, while supervising residents during activities and outings.
You will assist with loading residents, participate in Vibrant Life programs, and help maintain safety and order within the community. A driver’s license and experience with elderly or dementia residents are preferred, with a supportive team environment and ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and capable of meeting driver’s license requirements.
- Valid Class of Driver’s License required by state for vehicle/van capacity.
- Experience driving a vehicle/van, preferably with elderly or dementia residents.
Responsibilities
- Operate property vehicle/van safely for daily outings and medical appointments.
- Assist with loading residents on to and off of the vehicle/van.
- Follow state and federal laws for vehicle operation and inspection.
- Provide supervision during outings and participate in planned activities.
- Assist with activities and programs within the community between vehicle trips.
- Report safety or maintenance issues promptly to supervisor.
