Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Vibrant Life Assistant in California. This part-time role covers Sunday through Thursday, focusing on safe driving of the community van and supervising residents during outings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old due to driving requirement.
• High school education; valid driver’s license required by state for vehicle capacity.
• Prefer at least two years of experience driving a vehicle/van with elderly or dementia residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate the community van safely for daily outings and medical appointments.
• Assist with loading/unloading residents onto/off the van.
• Follow state/federal laws and vehicle/van safety standards and inspections.
• Act as Vibrant Life staff during outings and in the community.
• Support resident activities and provide supervision and assistance as needed.
• Report safety or maintenance issues promptly to supervisor.
• Maintain communication with the property using a cell phone during shifts.
• Provide feedback to improve resident safety during vehicle trips.
• Assist with marketing through friendly interactions during tours and calls.
