Job summary

ABB in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) Support Specialist to provide technical support to ABB customers, end users, and internal teams on drives, power, wiring, and connectivity.

You will diagnose issues, assist with drive programming, coordinate with engineering, warranty, and service groups, and document cases in Salesforce. This hybrid US role offers remote work options and pays within the disclosed base salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive electrical experience.
• Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives and electrical principles required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email for VFD-related issues.
• Assist customers with drive programming, configuration, and integration with control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, field service, sales, and product teams to resolve complex issues.
• Coordinate with warranty team to initiate replacements and labor authorizations.
• Document support cases and best practices using Salesforce Case Management.
