Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group seeks a Sonographer to support ultrasound services across VEG hospitals and training facilities. You will perform ultrasound studies, coordinate training, and mentor staff while aligning with VEG culture and clinical standards.

The role involves traveling to regional sites to deliver education and maintain high-quality imaging practices, with ongoing opportunities for growth within VEG's ultrasound programs.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician or equivalent with ultrasound training.
• 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience.
• Experience teaching or mentoring clinicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate ultrasound training at home and regional hospitals.
• Coordinate weekly schedules with hospital managers and directors for training.
• Develop curriculum materials (PowerPoints, videos, simulations) for education.
• Demonstrate ultrasound topics to doctors and nurses across VEG sites.
