Job summary

VEG ER for Pets in Ardmore, PA seeks a Sonographer to provide ultrasound support across VEG hospitals and training facilities. You will perform same-day scans, collaborate with emergency doctors, and help grow the ultrasound program.

You will train staff, coordinate curricula, mentor VEGgies, and travel to regional hospitals to deliver education and build confidence in imaging techniques. A supportive, learning-focused culture awaits.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as veterinary technician or sonographer with relevant certs.
• 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience.
• Previous training experience and the ability to mentor.
• Comfortable mentoring and giving/receiving feedback.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound studies and assist in training at home and regional hospitals.
• Engage with teleconsultation radiologists to review scans and maintain quality.
• Align training content with VEG culture, mission, and up-to-date techniques.
• Track skills with a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist.
• Support program development and schedule training sessions weekly.
• Lead educational demonstrations for doctors and nurses at VEG facilities.
