Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to lead execution of Vet BU strategy in Eastern North Carolina, including Raleigh, Greenville, Plymouth and Elizabeth City areas. You must live within the territory and travel ~20–30% overnight.

This field-based role focuses on growing clinic opportunities and driving sales with veterinary clinics. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (preferred) with 2+ years sales experience (B2B preferred) and veterinary clinic exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills.
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of our products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address the unique needs of the Veterinary staff.
• Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across BU & organization; balance needs of internal/external stakeholders.
• Build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.
• Effectively execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy.
• Work in cross-functional, team-based environments in fluid, complex settings.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies and investments accordingly.
• Budget and reporting: manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM call exp reports and presentations.
