Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to cover Johnson City, TN / Asheville, NC within a field-based territory. You will execute the Vet BU strategy, meet KPIs, and identify clinic opportunities while collaborating cross-functionally to grow clinic access and Vet recommendations.

The role requires 2+ years of sales experience (preferably B2B), veterinary clinic exposure, strong communication and presentation skills, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel 20-30% with

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
Overnight travel required, occasional weekends; approximately 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within the geography.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within the geography.
Develop and deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
Build cross-functional partnerships to execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy.
Collaborate with internal teams to meet objectives and adjust strategies based on territory performance.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and manage budgets and reporting.
