Job summary

MARS, in partnership with Royal Canin, is seeking a Field Based Veterinary District Sales Manager to cover Central South Carolina (Columbia, Lexington, Greenwood, Orangeburg) with 20–30% travel. This individual contributor role executes the Vet BU strategy, grows clinic access, and builds relationships with clinic decision-makers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 2+ years of B2B sales experience, and veterinary clinic exposure, plus strong communication and presentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers, and data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan; grow clinics within geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations for Veterinary staff.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across BU & organization to meet objectives.
• Build partnerships and work collaboratively to meet shared goals.
• Execute Veterinary BU sales strategy.
• Work in a cross-functional team-based environment amid changes.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
• Manage expenses and sales budget; complete CRM and expense reports.
