Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive the Vet BU strategy in the Houston North/The Woodlands region. This field-based role requires living in the territory and involves cross-functional collaboration to grow clinic access and veterinarian recommendations.

The role demands a proven 2+ years of sales experience (B2B preferred), clinic familiarity, and strong presentation and communication skills. Overnight travel of 20–30% is expected, with occasional weekends required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience in B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic needs.
• Grow clinics and establish relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations customized to Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the BU and organization to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy and cross-functional teamwork.
• Manage budget, CRM calls, expense reports and timely presentations.
