Job summary

Mars Incorporated is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Houston North / The Woodlands territory. This field-based role requires living within the territory and delivering veterinary clinic growth through data-driven sales strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

Extensive travel (20-30%) and weekends for conferences are expected. The role emphasizes translating clinic data into opportunities, building relationships with clinic decision-makers, and presenting tailored

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record
• Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers, and clinic data into business opportunities
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations addressing the Veterinary staff needs
• Build strong working relationships with key stakeholder groups across BU & organization
• Collaborate with others to meet shared objectives and execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy
• Work in a cross-functional team-based environment and adapt to changing needs
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM and reporting promptly
