Job summary

Mars is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager for the Altamont region of California (Stockton, Modesto, Tracy, Livermore, San Ramon). This field-based role requires residency within the territory to drive Vet BU strategies and achieve KPIs by expanding clinic access and recommendations.

You will translate product knowledge into business opportunities, develop territory plans, present data-driven proposals, and collaborate across functions to maximize territory performance and company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Veterinary clinic experience preferred.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Overnight travel required, approximately 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customers and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan focusing on clinic needs to grow within the geography.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers.
• Deliver data-driven presentations addressing Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts and Scientific Affairs to meet objectives.
• Execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy and adapt plans as needed.
