Job summary

Mars Incorporated, home of Royal Canin, seeks a Veterinary District Sales Manager to drive clinic partnerships in the Altamont Region (Stockton, Modesto, Tracey, Livermore, San Ramon). This field-based role requires living within the territory and occasional travel.

You will translate product knowledge into territory growth, develop business plans with clinics, and present data-driven strategies to veterinary staff while collaborating across account teams and scientific affairs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written).
• Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs.
• Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
• Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address Veterinary staff needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Account teams, Digital Sales, Inside Accounts, and Scientific Affairs).
• Execute the Veterinary Business Unit sales strategy in a cross-functional team environment.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with Line Manager and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
• Manage expense and sales budget; complete CRM call reports and expense reports.
