Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Veterinary District Sales Manager – Royal Canin to cover Seattle South / Tacoma, WA. This field-based role requires living within the territory and delivering account-specific sales goals by leveraging clinic data and cross-functional collaborations.

You will translate product knowledge into business opportunities and develop territory plans to grow clinics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
2+ years sales experience, preferably B2B
Veterinary clinic experience preferred
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral and written)
Possession of a driver’s license and a clean driving record
Overnight travel required, occasional weekends for conferences; approximately 20-30%+ travel

Responsibilities

Translate knowledge of products, categories, customer, and clinic data into business opportunities.
Develop and execute a territory business plan by understanding clinic operational needs and grow clinics within assigned geography.
Establish and grow relationships with clinic decision-makers within assigned geography.
Develop and deliver data-driven presentations to address the needs of Veterinary staff.
Build strong working relationships across BU and organization with stakeholders.
Collaborate with others to meet shared objectives and execute the Veterinary BU sales strategy.
Work in a cross-functional team-based environment and adapt to changing conditions.
Conduct quarterly business reviews with the Line Manager and adjust strategies to maximize territory performance.
Manage expenses and sales budgets; complete CRM and reporting timely.
