Job summary

Small Door is expanding its veterinary care network and is seeking a Veterinary Technician Recruiter to partner with markets in building strong talent pipelines. You will engage active and passive candidates, travel to clinics, and manage sourcing through offers with a high-touch, candidate-centered approach.

You’ll collaborate with field leaders and build long-term relationships in the veterinary community, contributing to planning for new practice openings and ensuring culture stays strong

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (3+ years preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Track record of full-cycle recruiting (veterinary recruiting preferred).
• Proven success recruiting scarce, passive clinical talent and keeping candidates engaged over long timelines.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships that last with veterinary technicians and local markets.
• Show up in person by traveling to clinics and priority markets.
• Own the full hiring process from sourcing to offer letter.
• Source creatively via direct outreach, industry networks, job boards, and social media.
• Deliver a white-glove candidate experience with on-site interviews and welcome for candidates.
