Small Door Veterinary seeks a Veterinary Technician Recruiter to partner for veterinary technicians and related roles across markets. You’ll plan outreach, build talent pipelines, and manage the full hiring process—from first contact to offer letter—with a focus on quality, culture, and candidate experience.

You’ll travel to clinics to understand team needs, develop talent networks, and host events, while collaborating with field leaders to forecast staffing needs and ensure timely hires.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (3+ years preferred).
• Track record recruiting scarce, passive clinical talent and keeping candidates engaged.
• Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.).
• Solid understanding of medical terminology (animal or human).
• Relationship-driven, resourceful, self-directed, and travel‑oriented.
• Bachelor's degree required; ability to travel 10-20%.

Responsibilities

• Be the main recruiting partner for veterinary technicians in assigned markets.
• Own the full hiring process from outreach to offer letter.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and prep with clinic leaders.
• Keep a pipeline always on and maintain candidate communications.
• Build referral networks and engage with veterinary schools and associations.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors of Operations and Medical Directors.
