Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, record vitals, and begin the patient history in the EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with exams, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Perform patient restraint, collect samples, dispense medications as directed, and update records.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay results, and manage inventory and client/patient records.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, and assist with discharge planning.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and maintain patient care including feeding and hydration as directed.
• Participate in staff training and ensure a clean, organized hospital environment.
