Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of veterinary technician experience.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician required in the state.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate, professional demeanor and able to handle emotional situations.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, take patient history, and record vitals in the EMR.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and euthanasia as directed.
• Handle specimens, medications, and maintain medical records.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, manage inventory and accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthetized patients.
