Qualifications

• College or college-equivalent education completed.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician in the state preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a team player with compassion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, take vital signs, and document visits.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint and handle labs, medications, and records.
• Schedule, educate clients, manage inventory and accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthesia.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and ensure patient care.
• Train new staff and maintain a clean hospital environment.
• Backup front desk support as needed.
