Petco is seeking a Veterinary Technician to support Vetco Total Care full-service hospital patients and their owners. You will work under veterinarians and Hospital Leader on Duty to ensure high-quality care, accurate records, and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a Credentialed Veterinary Technician as required by the state.
• At least 1 year of veterinary technician or practice experience.
• Must be compassionate and sympathetic and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients and assist veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint, collect samples, and handle medications under supervision.
• Maintain electronic medical records, schedule appointments, and educate clients.
