Petco is seeking a Veterinary Technician to provide top-tier care to Vetco Total Care patients while delivering exceptional customer service to their owners. The role emphasizes medical support, compassionate communication, and teamwork within a full-service hospital setting.

You will assist veterinarians with routine and emergency procedures, perform basic lab tasks, manage records, and help educate clients about treatments and at-home care.

Qualifications

• College or college-equivalent education required for Credentialed Veterinary Technician status.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; compassionate bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, take history, and record vital signs and weights.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia as directed.
• Handle and dispense medications and manage medical records and inventory.
