Qualifications

• College or college-equivalent education completed for credentialed Vet Tech.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and sympathetic with professional demeanor.
• Telephone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients and record vitals and history in the EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and euthanasia under supervision.
• Handle medications, record keeping, and inventory management.
• Educate clients, relay test results, and manage accounts receivable.
