Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician status required by state.

• Proficient telephone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, obtain vitals, and document visits in the EMR.
• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia as directed.
• Perform patient restraint, collect lab samples, and dispense medications.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, update records, and manage accounts receivable.
• Prepare patients for procedures and monitor anesthesia under veterinary direction.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and assist with post-procedure care.
• Train new staff and maintain a clean hospital environment.
• Provide backup front desk support as needed.
