Job summary

Small Door Veterinary is expanding its recruiting team to build a veterinary talent pipeline across multiple markets. You will act as the primary recruiting partner for veterinarians, guiding candidates from first contact to day one and beyond, with a strong emphasis on culture fit and mission alignment.

In this role, you will travel to clinics, manage end-to-end hiring, and develop outreach plans to fill roles ahead of openings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, 5+ years preferred for veterinary roles.
• Proven success recruiting scarce passive clinicians and keeping candidates engaged.
• Strong sourcing skills and understanding veterinary terminology.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with veterinarians in assigned markets.
• Travel to clinics and priority markets to meet candidates.
• Own the full hiring process for veterinarians.
• Source proactively via outreach, networks, and job boards.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and prep clinic leaders.
• Maintain a continuous candidate pipeline.
• Partner with field leaders to forecast needs.
• Track pipeline health with data.
