Small Door Inc. is expanding its veterinary recruitment team to support a growing network of clinics across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest.

This role focuses on recruiting veterinarians and veterinary staff, building deep relationships, and guiding candidates through a high-touch process from first contact to day one and beyond. You will plan outreach, travel to priority markets, and partner with Regional Directors and Medical Leadership to ensure quality hires.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with veterinary roles preferred.
• Proven success recruiting scarce, passive candidates and keeping timelines.
• Strong sourcing skills including LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with veterinarians in assigned markets and engage active and passive candidates.
• Travel to clinics to meet candidates and understand local talent and team needs.
• Own the full hiring process for veterinarians from sourcing to offer and closing.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and prepare clinic leaders for candidate meetings.
• Maintain a steady pipeline of veterinarians built months before openings.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors of Operations and Medical Leadership to forecast needs.
• Record conversations and pipeline data to monitor health and insights in real time.
