Job summary

Small Door Veterinary is seeking a Veterinarian Recruiter to partner with our markets in building trusted relationships with veterinarians and the broader vet community. You will manage end-to-end hiring, from outreach to the first day, while planning for new practice openings and maintaining a high-touch candidate experience.

You’ll travel to clinics and priority markets, sourcing passively and actively, and collaborating with regional leaders to forecast needs and ensure culture fit.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including veterinary roles (5+ years preferred).
• Executive presence with strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and other tools.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with veterinarians and the vet community across markets.
• Travel to clinics and priority markets to understand local talent and culture.
• Own the full hiring process for veterinarians from sourcing to closing.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and ensure a warm candidate experience.
