Small Door Veterinary is seeking a Veterinarian Recruiter to grow our clinical team across Northeast markets. You'll partner with veterinarians and veterinary staff, travel to clinics, and manage the full hiring process from sourcing to offers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with veterinary hiring preferred.
• Proven ability to recruit scarce clinical talent and engage passive candidates.
• Strong sourcing skills and excellent written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with veterinarians and vet teams in assigned markets.
• Travel to clinics and priority markets to assess talent and culture.
• Own end-to-end hiring process for veterinary roles from sourcing to offer.
• Develop creative outreach strategies to meet business needs and candidate expectations.
• Coordinate on-site interviews and ensure a welcoming candidate experience.
• Maintain a robust talent pipeline months before openings.
• Partner with field leaders to forecast needs and align hiring plans.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and provide market insights.
